South Asian Heritage Schools Resource

I’ve been working with three artists and Milton Keynes Art Centre on a project for a series of schools’ workshops. They are designed to increase understanding and awareness of South Asia’s cultures through visual art and celebrating skills in reuse, repurposing and regeneration in art’s making.

In March 2024, forty-five year 5 pupils at Falconhurst School in Eaglestone will be working with the artists Kajal Nisha Patel, Vasundhara Sellamuthu and Mansi Shouche.

I will be leading a free Creative Professional Development session for Milton Keynes teachers as part of the project on Wednesday 12th June 2024, 4pm - 7pm.

For more information visit the South Asian Heritage Schools Resource project page on Milton Keynes Art Centre website.

Please contact hello@miltonkeynesartscentre.org for details on the CPD for teachers session.

This work has been supported by funding from MK Community Foundation.
